Recognizing the importance of measuring and improving campus climate, a network of California schools and districts teamed up with school climate experts and state education agency personnel to form the Middle Grades School Climate Alliance.
Members of the alliance include Regional Educational Laboratory West (REL West) staff who provide technical assistance and data analysis.
In this issue of the REL West Research Digest, read about the evolving work of this professional learning community and its members’ use of school climate data to assess needs, implement improvement projects, and monitor progress.
Also in this newsletter issue are selected publications and resources from REL West and other organizations on improving school climate and other pressing issues.
