Realizing they had a dearth of education leaders capable of transforming their lowest performing schools, five southwestern states turned to the West Comprehensive Center (WCC) at WestEd for help. The WCC connected the states with an innovative education leadership program that helped to spark profound school improvements.

Combining the talents and resources of the University of Virginia’s (UVA) respected Curry School of Education and its Darden School of Business, the program enlists state, district, and school leaders in the kind of executive education that prepares business leaders to successfully manage large corporations.
