Repeating Algebra I and Initial Performance When the Course Is Repeated
This study explores the prevalence of students repeating Algebra I, who is most likely to repeat the course, and the level of improvement for students who repeat.
The findings of this study can be used to help educators rethink the ways students are placed in math courses. The Regional Educational Laboratory West at WestEd produced the study.
