New School Improvement Grant requirements will give state education agencies an opportunity to engage with their early learning offices and have strategic conversations about school improvement planning and sustainability.

A recent Education Daily article (March 3, 2015) highlighted the key findings of a recent report on early learning strategies. The report, produced by the Center on School Turnaround (CST) at WestEd and the Center on Enhancing Early Learning Outcomes, discussed how three case study schools, featured in the report, implemented early learning strategies.

The report’s co-authors—CST Director Carlas McCauley, WestEd Senior Research Associate Lenay Dunn, and Jana Martella, Co-Director of the Center on Enhancing Early Learning Outcomes—presented the study findings at the recent National Title I Conference in Salt Lake City, UT.
