At the center of learning is the partnership between student and teacher. Participants will learn the Making Sense of Student Work model, a structured process for collaborating with colleagues to examine student work from each other’s classrooms. Participants will use student samples to explore the protocol’s modules, receive formative assessment tasks targeting middle school students, and examine how to use this protocol in their learning community.
