Staff from WestEd’s Learning Innovations program will present at the Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy Symposium, hosted by George Mason University, on June 26. The symposium will be held at George Mason University’s Fairfax, VA, campus.

This year’s theme is “Key Issues in Evidence-Based Crime Policy.” The symposium will explore topics ranging from mental health and the criminal justice system to relationships between the police and the community.

WestEd’s Joseph McCrary, Kathryn Grogan, and Jenna Terrell will present “Exploring Leadership and Communication in a Blended School Security Model” as part of a panel on school safety research.
