Register: Reading Apprenticeship Online Professional Development – Summer 2020

Reading Apprenticeship is launching enhanced online summer courses to fulfill an evolving nationwide need for professional development delivered in multiple formats to improve literacy for all students, all year.

Available Summer 2020, virtual learning opportunities support middle, high school, and college educators who are interested in expanding their expertise and instructional skills using the Reading Apprenticeship framework across various content areas and grade levels.

Options listed below will help you learn how to establish a positive learning culture and inspire students to read, write, and analyze complex texts together, in digital and traditional formats. WestEd’s expert facilitators will guide collaborative learning and provide substantive feedback along the way.

Reading Apprenticeship has changed my perspective, and therefore, how I present concepts to my students… Students feel more empowered. They can figure things out on their own… We build on what kids do, turning them into experts.
