Terry Hofer, Director of New York School & District Services, and Kevin Perks, Director of School and District Services, will present at the Council of Administrators of Compensatory Education (CACE) 2018 Annual Leadership Conference, Friday, November 30, in Chatham, Massachusetts.
CACE is the Massachusetts organization for local Title I administrators. CACE works with its members to obtain and share information about federal and state regulations.
At last year’s CACE Conference, our experts introduced participants to WestEd’s VITAL Collaboration, an effective approach to teacher collaboration designed to support efforts to make desired instructional practices a routine reality in classrooms. In this year’s presentation, they will revisit the model for using teacher collaboration time to facilitate processes for improving teaching and learning, and they will share three different tools district leaders can use to transform curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Participants will leave with an electronic file of VITAL tools that may be shared with their district staff and school leaders.
The Presentation, VITAL Collaboration – Translating District Instructional Priorities into Routine Classroom Practice, will be held on November 30 from 10:30am-12pm.
