Cynthia Woods, Senior Leadership Associate at the Riverside County Office of Education Leadership Institute, presents the work of the Riverside County African American Achievement Initiative — a group of educators, community members, students, and teachers dedicated to closing the achievement gap for African American students in Riverside County (CA).

Woods also discusses findings in the Initiative’s report, Blueprint for Action: A Framework for Understanding and Improving Academic Achievement for African American Students.
