“What Do I Say?” Conversation With Families About Developmental Concerns
Session Description
This interactive session shares lessons from a multiyear, federally funded project on strengthening Part C early intervention (EI). Attendees will draft talking points—tailored to their own roles and community contexts—to describe developmental screening and referral. Participants will also explore how thoughtful, individualized communication about screening, results, referrals, and recommendations can increase families’ access to EI and other community resources.
