Hosted by the International MTSS Association, the Summit is organized around this year’s theme, “MTSS: Science of Student Success.” It brings together educators and leaders to explore how to strengthen instruction and supports, provide timely interventions, and use data to improve outcomes for all students.

Partners in Practice Session

This session highlights a districtwide MTSS implementation journey, from a three-school pilot to a scalable, sustainable system, developed through a partnership among Alvord Unified School District, WestEd, and the Oak Foundation. Grounded in implementation science and continuous improvement, presenters will share the frameworks, tools, and strategies used to align leadership; strengthen Tier 1 instruction; and leverage academic, behavioral, and attendance data for decision-making.
The session will also highlight measurable outcomes, including gains in reading achievement, improved attendance, and reductions in behavioral incidents, and offer practical lessons on scaling MTSS and building educator ownership so that it becomes embedded in daily practice.
