Using the Indicators of Distress Survey Tool for Charter School Success

This presentation will explore how charter schools can identify and respond to early signs of distress using a research-based survey tool developed by the Florida Charter Institute (FCI). Based on work led by Aimee Evan, the tool helps schools self-monitor key areas such as leadership, governance, operations, finance, talent, culture, and instruction. Curtis Fuller and Christine Mentis will demonstrate how the tool supports sustainability and long-term success for charter schools.
