Jenell Krishnan, Senior Program Associate, Literacy
Krishnan’s work is at the intersection of literacy, language, and technology. She strengthens the connection between research and practice by engaging educators, school leaders, and university faculty in working together to improve literacy teaching and learning. As the developer of Writing Apprenticeship, Krishnan supports educators in improving their writing instructional practice in discipline-specific ways. The Writing Apprenticeship framework builds on Reading Apprenticeship’s established history in the field of adolescent literacy of improving secondary teaching and learning through school and district partnerships across the United States.
