Overview

Antoinette Miller (she/her) is a dedicated and community-centered individual whose work is driven by a deep commitment to helping others heal, grow, and thrive. As a School Climate Specialist of the Resilient and Healthy Schools and Communities team, Miller fosters meaningful connections with educators and students alike. She believes that by nurturing supportive school climates and cultures, she can contribute to lasting positive change in communities. Her focus on trauma-informed and equitable practices reflects her genuine passion for creating environments where everyone can flourish. 

In her current role, Miller provides vital technical assistance, coaching, and professional learning to educators across California and Connecticut. Her work equips teachers and school leaders with the tools they need to foster supportive and effective learning environments, leading to improved student engagement and academic outcomes. Additionally, she is actively involved in supporting transformative social and emotional learning initiatives throughout Oregon, where she collaborates with educational partners to design professional learning opportunities for educators. Through a focus on creating trauma-informed spaces and promoting resilience, Miller’s efforts are making a significant positive impact, helping to cultivate a generation of students who are not only academically successful but also emotionally healthy and well-adjusted. 

Before joining WestEd, Miller served as a Multi-tiered Systems of Support Coordinator in Fairfield, California, where she delivered professional development, technical assistance, and coaching focused on multi-tiered support systems and restorative practices. Her experience equips her to work collaboratively with educators at all levels, guiding them to improve outcomes for children and youths in their care. Through her efforts, Miller is making a significant impact on the lives of students and the health of communities.
