WestEd is an approved vendor on the Department of Education Technical Support Services Blanket Purchase Agreement, providing a range of services and expertise in the areas of technical assistance, research, evaluation, and data analysis. WestEd is also an approved vendor on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Program Support Center Task Order. Services that WestEd offers under this indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity task order contract include: data analysis and support services, evaluation design studies and data collection, performance measurement, policy assessment and analysis, program assessments, and technical assistance.

Cultivating Prenatal-to-5 (P-5) Community-Based Facilitators

WestEd is requesting applications from community-based professionals, trainers, knowledge sharers, consultants, community educators, etc. who have an interest in supporting prenatal-to-five (P-5) providers in ways that can transform systems and practices for our youngest children in multidisciplinary spaces by engaging in deep learning with others in the field. We want you to join us for the Cultivating P-5 Community-Based Facilitators (CCBF) Program.
The Program is a Workforce Development initiative that supports King County’s P-5 community members who seek to share wisdom, learning, and practice in their communities and beyond. Through mentorship and facilitated discussions the program hopes to build culturally responsive skills and practices associated with the three foundational topics: (1) healthy child development, (2) infant and early childhood mental health, and (3) racial equity.
This RFA contains background information on Best Starts for Kids and WestEd and outlines specific information that must be included in the applications submitted. Applications must be submitted online via this link and be received no later than 5pm PST on June 29, 2023 to be considered for the 2023 (July) – 2024 (April) cohort.

Replacement of Fire Alarm System at WestEd Headquarters
Submit Proposals by June 30, 2023
WestEd is seeking proposals from qualified electrical contractors to perform all electrical work to replace a fire alarm system at WestEd’s headquarters located in San Francisco at 730 Harrison Street, including procuring the necessary permits. This RFP provides interested firms with sufficient information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal for consideration by WestEd.
An electronic version of the proposal must be received no later than June 30th, 2023 (Friday). Electronic copies must be delivered via email to Oscar Leon, Procurement Manager at oleon@wested.org. If firms wish to submit a hard copy of the proposal, it needs to be postmarked no later than the due date and mailed to:

Workforce Development Communities of Practice

WestEd is requesting proposals from community-based organizations, not-for-profit organizations, tribes/tribal organizations, public or governmental agencies, schools, and school districts serving communities in King County comprised of self-identified groups of prenatal-to-five providers who are seeking ongoing professional development with an emphasis on the following priority areas:
- Healthy Child Development
- Racial Equity Training
- Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health
This RFP contains background information on Best Starts for Kids and WestEd and outlines specific information that must be included in the bids submitted. Applications are due on July 20, 2023. but will continue to be accepted throughout the year and considered as additional needs arise.
