The Eradicate Hate Global Summit is the most comprehensive anti-hate conference in the world with an audience of roughly 1,500 thought leaders across a wide range of sectors. The Summit provides a unique, multidisciplinary forum to share ideas and build working relationships to drive the development and deployment of effective approaches to reduce hate-fueled violence.

In this breakout session, panelists will explore the unsung roles played by insider threat centers, basketball coaches, mediators, podcasters, and subject matter experts, in preventing hate. They will offer a comprehensive, multi-perspective discussion on the daily responsibilities of professionals in preventing hate-based incidents in diverse environments.

Shaun Ali is a Senior Justice Technical Assistance Specialist with WestEd’s Justice and Prevention team. Ali is a part of a team that developed the Violence Prevention Navigation Framework (VPNF), an initiative of the Justice and Prevention Center. VPNF assists leaders in gaining a clearer understanding of the factors contributing to or preventing violence within their communities—helping leaders promote safe and equitable futures for children, youth, and adults.
