Centering Youth Voice: Using California Healthy Kids Survey Data to Strengthen Community School Efforts

Centering Youth Voices Webinar

Date: May 21, 2026

Time: 2:30–3:30 p.m. PT

You already have a powerful data source, but which California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) indicators most clearly connect with community school efforts? Districts and schools administering the CHKS can use this existing, student-centered data to better understand student experiences and the way they connect to California Community Schools Partnership Program implementation and improvement efforts.

In this webinar, we’ll highlight key CHKS indicators that align with California’s Community Schools Framework and share how to dig deeper with key indicators and related staff/parent survey data to monitor progress over time. We’ll also cover how to access and use CHKS dashboards and downloads for real-time exploration and disaggregation.
