PITC Implementation Training 2026

Deepen your practice and enrich the care you provide to infants and toddlers! 

Join WestEd for the 2026 Program for Infant/Toddler Care (PITC) Curriculum Implementation Training—designed to support family child care and center-based care teachers in delivering high-quality, individualized learning experiences. 

This training promotes fidelity of implementation of the PITC Curriculum and supports the efforts of family child care and center-based care teachers to facilitate high-quality individualized learning and development for children. 

Training Session Dates and Topics 

  • Session 1—August 15: Introduction to the PITC Curriculum 
  • Session 2—August 29: The PITC Curriculum Planning Steps and Tools 
  • Session 3—September 12: Curriculum Planning for Small Groups 
  • Session 4—September 26: Individual Goal Planning and the Responsive Process of Watch, Ask, and Adapt

All sessions are held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon PT. Applications close Friday, July 31, 2026.

Cost 

The cost is $925.00 per person and includes a complete set of the PITC Curriculum and the participant binder and materials for the implementation training. 
Register and pay by Wednesday, July 31, 2026, to ensure that all session materials arrive by the first day of training. 

Additional Support 

Technical assistance is available at no additional cost to all participants. We will 

  • provide practice opportunities related to each training session, 
  • answer frequently asked questions related to each training session, and 
  • support and guide PITC Curriculum implementation. 

Optional drop-in sessions by appointment are available from August 17, 2026, through October 2, 2026.
