Evelina (Evy) Du provides leadership in WestEd’s Center for Child & Family Studies (CCFS) to expand its innovative delivery of digital solutions and extend the impactful learning experiences that stem from CCFS’s decades of research.
As Senior Research Associate and Digital Strategist for CCFS, Du helps lead statewide projects funded by First 5 California, California Department of Education, and California Health and Human Services.
Du provides expert consultation to state agencies in building and integrating digital solutions that support critical funding and policy decisions impacting children, families, and educators throughout California. She also provides thought leadership to senior executives on statewide system-building efforts.
Du is a strategic and creative thinker with a passion for education, research, and technology. She collaborates across disciplines to bring together staff with unique skillsets to discover and deliver innovative solutions that are efficient and impactful.
Prior to joining WestEd in 2004, Du was a lecturer at Peking University and a product analyst at Oracle Corporation.
Du received a BA in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, an MA in international education policy analysis from Stanford University, and an MA and an EdD in Education Leadership from Mills College.
