Nancy Tiên (she/her) is a Program Associate in Culturally Responsive & Equitable Systems. She provides training and technical assistance support with state, regional, and local education agencies to advance educational equity and sustain a racially, linguistically diverse, and culturally responsive educator workforce.
As a former elementary teacher and policy fellow, Tiên leverages her perspective as a bilingual educator and her expertise to provide support in student-centered education systems, culturally responsive and sustaining education (CRSE), professional development design and facilitation for educators, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training. She engages in authentic two-way learning partnerships that amplify marginalized student groups and works on integrating equitable structures into education policy.
Tiên holds a BA in applied learning and development in bilingual education (Spanish/English) from the University of Texas, Austin.
