Amy Yanchik is a Research Assistant in D2 Early Childhood Learning and Development. She is currently working on the CDE Preschool Learning Foundations, CA Early Math Initiative, and the Inclusive Early Education Expansion Program (IEEEP).
Prior to joining WestEd, Amy worked in an academic lab studying the early social-emotional development of children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disorders. Amy also has experience working as a Behavior Support Consultant and Behavior Analyst in early childhood settings.
Amy holds a BS in Special Education from Winthrop University, an M.Ed. in Special Education/Behavior Analysis from Penn State, and an MA in Psychological Sciences from Montclair State University.
