Jessica Arnold is a Senior Project Director with WestEd’s Assessment for Learning team. She leads professional learning, resource development, and technical assistance efforts aimed at supporting educators to effectively use assessment and data to improve outcomes for students.
Arnold has also served on several national centers focused on improving outcomes for people with disabilities, including the National Center for Systemic Improvement (NCSI), the National Center for Educational Outcomes (NCEO), and the National Deaf Center (NDC).
Prior to joining WestEd, Arnold worked for International Baccalaureate (IB), leading projects aimed at improving instruction and expanding participation and performance of historically underrepresented students in IB programs in the United States. She also served as a literacy specialist in New York City secondary schools for the Gateway Institute at the City University of New York.
Arnold received a BA from Vassar College and a master’s degree on risk and prevention from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
