Jessica Arnold

Jessica Arnold is a Senior Program Associate with the National Center for Systemic Improvement (NCSI) at WestEd, where she manages implementation of NCSI’s cross-state learning collaborative model.

Arnold also leads NCSI’s internal professional development team and supports the project management team.

In addition to her work for NCSI, Arnold manages national teacher professional development efforts in support of the Common Core State Standards and next generation assessments. She is the author of Making the Most of Performance Tasks: Building Educator Assessment Literacy in Oregon.

Prior to joining WestEd, Arnold worked for International Baccalaureate (IB), leading projects aimed at improving instruction and expanding participation and performance of underrepresented students in IB programs in the United States. She also served as a literacy specialist in New York City secondary schools for the Gateway Institute at the City University of New York.

Arnold received a master’s degree on risk and prevention from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA from Vassar College.
