Math experts from WestEd’s Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics team will present at the 2022 National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Conference. The conference will take place from September 28 to October 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The annual meeting brings together teachers, leaders, administrators, exhibitors, and sponsors for four days of professional development, learning, and networking. This year’s conference theme is One Mathematics, Many Voices: Rehumanizing Mathematics Teaching and Learning.
In their session, Kirk Walters, Angela Knotts, Rebecca Perry, and Sola Takahashi will discuss practical measures for teachers engaged in creating equitable classrooms that promote agency for all students.
Participants will learn about an accessible repository of practical measures for middle school teachers, including measurement tools, measurement guides, and classroom cases.
